Ready, Set, GO!

.

We are the LCS Class of 2010.

Some of us started school together in preschool - - - others have added in somewhere along our educational pursuit - - - still others started down this path with us but have since followed the beat of a different drummer.

We have worked together, played together, prayed together - - - and now we are one. One class.

As we approach our graduation, we are heading out on the trip of a lifetime. It is a trip we have planned for since our first day at LCS, our senior missions trip. We have planned, prepared, and saved - - - now all we have left is to GO.

In just a few short days, we will board a plane, rise into the wild blue yonder, and set down - - -

In the tropical paradise of Costa Rica. Ok, ok - - - so THIS isn't Costa Rica, but you'll just have to wait until we get there for REAL pictures.

We think we're ready.

We've had a great year of bonding - - -

And growing - - -

And eating. We love eating.

We've done our best to get prepared,

Including making puppets - - -

And practicing using them.

We think we have all our "ducks in a row", so to speak.

Now all we ask of you is that you check this blog for our progress - - -

And that you PRAY for us. We know we will need your prayers.

Oh yes, and these are our sponsors who will be going with us. Now you KNOW we need your prayers - - - especially for the one in the leopard skin!!

This has been the debut post for our new blog. When next you hear from us - - - we will be ON OUR WAY!!

I will be living vicariously through you all as I read all about your trip. Costa Rica is one of those places I dream to visit one day. Take lots of photos! I will be following along each day.....and praying for a safe & successful trip, where much is learned and lives are enriched.

Looks great Keetha! As much as I will look forward to hearing from you on your trip, I also know how the internet connection is in other countries. So, I will be patient and pray! I know our kids will be in good hands with you two.

Hola mi amigos! I'm really anxious to hear about everyone's trip when you come back! Don't be too mean to Miss Keetha and Miz Agness, okay?!?!
Cass - Love you soooo much. Be careful and don't forget to wear your sunscreen and drink water. "Now play nice with the other kids!" We're all praying for your safe return home! :)
