Here's How We Wait - - -

This is it, folks. This will be my last post to the Costa Rican Diary. I've gone through all the "fodder" I brought home.

But the Diary will stay online for memory's sake.

When for eight days your life revolves around riding on buses and planes it is necessary to do a lot of waiting.

See how we wait:

And now, for the longest wait of all - - - the wait to see if we will ever return to CR.

Costa Rica, we love you. You and your people have carved a giant niche in our hearts.

Mihai's Famous Pose

He hosted us in his home.

He was our "tour" guide.

He taught us the ways of Costa Rica.

He spoke for us.

He picked on us - - - and we loved every minute of it!

Here he is, Mihai, in his most famous pose:

"Scene" Along the Way

Climb in the bus with us, and watch through the windows as we pass through Costa Rica. You'll KNOW we are on the bus, 'cause you'll see "bus parts" in most of the photos.

Much of Costa Rica's "electric grid" is evident above ground - - -

Not to worry - - - these "head-on" collisions never did materialize.

Stop didn't always mean stop. Yield didn't always mean yield. Red often meant go. And yet - - - we didn't see any collisions.

We did get off the bus at this look-out point.
